Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in the Trussell network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list shows the food items that we need right now.

If you would like to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations:

Ask if your local church collects for us

In line with the guidance issued by the UNICEF Baby Friendly Initiative, foodbanks are recommended not to accept donations of infant formula (Stage 1 or 2) or distribute infant formula for babies. We therefore ask that you do not donate infant formula (Stage 1 & 2) to the foodbank, but consider donating other food suitable for older children and adults to help ease the overall burden on the family. Sadly we would have to dispose of any unacceptable donations.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to local people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages.

If you would prefer to make a financial donation it would be very much appreciated, please go to the Donate Money PageĀ

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
