Barmouth Community Foodshare Scheme

25th June 2020

By working with Barmouth Co-op and with the support of Gwynedd Council, a Community Foodshare Scheme has been set up in Barmouth.  Our aim is to reduce food waste by taking those items from the Co-op that are running out of date and making them available to the community.  Anyone can come to Barmouth Elim Church (where the foodbank is based) and receive whatever is available free of charge.  This is open to all, not just foodbank clients, please just turn up from 10.30am to 2.00pm, Mondays to Fridays, and see what is available – bread, cakes, fruit, veg, salad and many other items.
