Since the outbreak of the Coronavirus Pandemic the foodbank has seen an almost 100% increase in the number of people receiving three days worth of food. In particular there has been a 133% increase in the number of children needing help as parents struggle to cope with the extra costs of children being at home whilst their own work has stopped or diminished. In addition, we have seen an increase in the number of elderly people seeking help.
